6.10 Aircraft flying VFR normally join the
circuit at 1,000 feet AAE. This may not always be possible because
of
- the possibility of a "straight in" clearance to the
airport in which case the final leg would normally be
entered at less than 1,000 feet.
- the existence of a special procedures NOTAM which
provides for a different circuit altitude.
- weather conditions which may necessitate a circuit
height lower than 1,000 feet.
- the existence of any of the above circumstances.
